To see that on their ratcheting straps that they have finger comfort grips or whatever for your bare hands for any tow truck driver that uses their ratchet straps and their hands. You are very, very very very very stupid. When you're operating a tow truck and you're loading a vehicle either loading or unloading. You are wearing gloves the entire time. Gloves that are leather that protect you from pokes, jabs, stabs cuts, etc. So to see that there's some type of finger comfort grip on the ratchet strap is just completely ridiculous and the most redundant stupidest thing I've ever seen in my entire life.

It worked harder than I did considering I never had to turn on my pto. If you're doubting the legitimacy of the winchout the full video is on my channel. This short was edited making it difficult to see the entirety of the situation. Not to argue because it's definitely hard to see from this angle.

A useful trick is to use shimming, cribbing or wedges to take up space as you raise your container so if it slips it cannot drop enough to matter.

Great video and info even for the non-trucker BUT it's really hard to hear instructor over the chain rattling on the metal plate. Even trying to read the words at the bottom of the screen aren't much help if you're trying to watch the demo - & yes, I'm quite aware you can watch the video over again but the chain clacking is distracting. Thankfully someone had the common sense, halfway through the video to increase the volume on the instructor and decrease sound on the rattling chain = probably just a matter of moving the mic but a BIG improvement, thank you thoughtful person (audio/video guy) & the instructor for your experience and time. I've been a Certified Traffic Control Person since 2008 and although I do not perform any of these tasks it's nice to have a better understanding of what your truckers are doing. I would never step out of my role & direct or instruct an owner/operator on how to do his job but it's a good idea for us to have a better understanding of tasks being performed on our jobsites. Though some people don't think we do much but we are responsible for everything within our loading area & until driver has all four wheels on the road. Best to know what you are sending out on the public roads where (my opinion) driving experience & level of knowledge is far less than a 'professional driver'. Thx. MK Certified Traffic Control Person in Vancouver BC Canada with 16 years experience.

That's great if you have 12oz 6 foot drop tarps. That are as thin as parachutes. You can't roll a 18 oz 8 foot drop tarp that easy. To heavy and to thick.

Didn’t know you sold lock out tools. There is a few things wrong in this video. First you’re supposed to use the wedge tool to pry the door a little to allow you to slide the bag in. You want the bag at least half way into the door jam then you pump the bag which will open the door jam space then insert the protective sleeve and the long reach tool. Unlock the door then take the long reach out, deflate the bag then open the door.

Loading the skate on the bed instead of doing that you could use the metal plate that they use for smoothing the concrete you turn it upside down have your own ramp or skate works well on asphalt doesn't tear it up like the plastic skates ones the metal plates alot smoother on the bed to I use them more than then the skates
